Terms & Conditions

1. About DJ Hire 247

 

DJ Hire 247 is a DJ booking agency. We are not the DJ, performer, or service provider. We act solely as an introductory platform connecting clients with independent DJs.

 

Once the DJ’s details are passed on, all performance-related matters form a direct agreement between the client and the DJ.

 

 

2. Booking Process

 

A booking is only secured when:

 

  • The required deposit is paid

  • All client details are submitted

  • The booking is confirmed by DJ Hire 247

 

No DJ is allocated or contacted until full payment has been received.

 

 

3. Deposit (Non-Refundable)

 

The deposit amount varies depending on the event and service required.

 

All deposits are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under all circumstances.

 

The deposit covers:

 

  • Administration

  • Sourcing and vetting DJs

  • Checking availability

  • Managing the booking

  • Securing a DJ

 

 

4. Payments & Balance

 

All payments made to DJ Hire 247 are final.

 

Full payment is required before:

 

  • A DJ is assigned

  • Any contact details are released

 

Once payment has been made, DJ Hire 247 will provide the DJ’s contact information and the client will liaise directly with the DJ for any performance-related requirements.

 

 

5. Cancellations

 

All payments made to DJ Hire 247 (including the deposit and full balance) are non-refundable.

 

If the client cancels for any reason, no refunds or credits will be provided.

 

DJ Hire 247 does not reschedule or transfer payments to new dates.

 

 

6. DJ Cancellations / Replacement DJs

 

If a DJ cancels, DJ Hire 247 will make reasonable efforts to find a replacement.

 

However:

 

  • A replacement DJ is not guaranteed

  • No refunds are provided

  • Performance liability is strictly between the client and the DJ

 

 

7. Performance & Equipment

 

DJ Hire 247 does not supply:

 

  • DJ equipment

  • Lighting

  • Sound systems

  • Cables

  • Staging or power

 

All equipment, setup, safety standards, and performance quality are the sole responsibility of the DJ.

 

Any issues on the event day must be taken up directly with the DJ.

 

 

8. Behaviour, Safety & Venue Conditions

 

DJ Hire 247 does not manage or control behaviour or conduct during events.

 

All performance-related policies—including:

 

  • Guest behaviour

  • Safety

  • Equipment use

  • Venue restrictions

  • Event timings

  • Working conditions

 

Are agreed directly between the client and the assigned DJ.

 

DJ Hire 247 is not liable for any disruption, stoppage, refusal to play, or early finish.

 

 

9. Travel, Parking & Access

 

All travel and access arrangements are agreed directly between the client and their DJ.

 

DJ Hire 247 does not quote or manage travel fees or access logistics.

 

 

10. Liability

 

DJ Hire 247:

 

  • Is not responsible for the DJ’s performance

  • Does not guarantee event outcomes

  • Is not liable for late arrival, no-show, equipment failure, or event disruptions

  • Is not responsible for loss, damage, or additional costs

 

Liability rests solely with the DJ and the client.

 

 

11. Client Responsibility

 

The client is responsible for:

 

  • Providing accurate event details

  • Ensuring venue suitability (power, space, sound restrictions, access)

  • Communicating with the DJ once details are provided

  • Any costs, damages or disputes related to the event

 

 

12. Changes to Bookings

 

DJ Hire 247 cannot modify:

 

  • Times

  • Locations

  • Requirements

  • Event details

 

after the DJ has been assigned.

 

Changes must be agreed directly with the DJ.

 

 

13. Governing Law

 

These terms are governed by UK law.
